This formula was used by Frater DH for a working with SONIZNT, the Mercury Senior of Water, the result of which was a series of dreams in which the deepest mysteries of mathematics were (fleetingly!) revealed to him. DH, it must be noted, studied humanites in college and still has trouble with long division.
